Justice needs to be sought
I’m sure that for many of you, like me the thought of having to go through divorce solicitors during a break up would never be on your mind. You think that you would be able to sort out any divorce proceedings and child care arrangements amicably and definitely out of the courts.
Well I have just finished sorting out the biggest mess imaginable and sadly my advice is to say that if you get the feeling that your partner is not going to play fair then your only option may be to employ divorce solicitors.
This is not so that you can %u2018grab all you can get'from him before you part ways; far from it. It is to ensure the protection and well being of you child / children. There is nothing worse for you or the children involved than being messed around and left in financial difficulties by an ex who doesn’t see that it is their responsibility any longer.
Now I am not having a %u2018man bashing'session here, believe me I know that women can be just as bad as men in some cases and that the majority of men are caring loving fathers who only have their children’s interest at heart.
However when it comes down to marital break ups things can get messy and the child is not always at the centre of this. In my case, my ex husband ran off with another woman and when I found a new man I told him that I wanted a divorce.
Since then he stopped paying me any support and didn’t even want to see our boy. He is like a different man to the one I know from our marriage. But it meant that against all my wants and wishes I was forced to take the divorce to the courts to ensure that my child received the financial support needed.
